Founded in 1936, and spanning three generations, Toner Transport and Logistics is a family-run transport and logistics company. It is currently owned and managed by Jim and Paul Toner, each of whom have worked in the company since 1985. The company currently employs 65 people.

At present, the company has a fleet of 52 trucks and 120 trailers. We also employ six full-time owner-operators to complement our fleet. We offer urban, national and international transport solutions to a wide variety of high profile clients.

Our company fleet is equipped throughout with satellite tracking and mobile phones, thereby allowing continuous updates on driver progress and precise delivery times. Clients with sensitive deliveries can, upon request, track their delivery via the website www.minorplanet.com as well as their GPS tracking system. Toner Transport and Logistics also provide our customers p.o.d.s (proof of delivery) by e-mail using the El Trax scanning system.

Toner Transport and Logistics has recently moved into its new warehouse facility in Greenogue Business Park, Rathcoole (just off the Naas Road). We have completed Phase One of this 50,000sq ft facility. The first phase of 34,000sq ft has 23,500sq ft, which is for High Bay Warehouse facility usage. This allows us to offer a range of services from pick and pack, short and long term storage to stripping containers and palletisation of freight as required. The second phase will add another 16,000sq ft.
